We've all heard of mead but why not distilled mead?

Jance Honey spirit is made from 100% Australian honey. The process starts by creating a simple honey mead. Once fermentation is finished its then double distilled, resulting in a final product that contains none of the original sugar but all the subtle flavours and aromas of the honey used.

Building upon Honey spirit we rest the spirit on French oak for three to six months until a desired level of oak. Resulting in a pale-golden colour with a smooth, complex flavour profile. 

But why?

When life gives you honey why not make alcohol, Humans have been drinking mead for thousands of years so naturally the next step for us is to turn it into a spirit and stick it in a bottle.
